EXCITING NEW CHANGES 

West Texas Fastpitch is excited to add 4U Knee High tee ball, a new age group with a lot of interest! The number of girls competing in the 4U boys tee ball league has sparked a need for a girls 4U tee ball division!

West Texas Fastpitch is excited to introduce BABE RUTH LEAGUE Softball to Amarillo! Babe Ruth League is an International youth draft league. Players 8U-14U will have an opportunity to make an All-Star team that is eligible to play in district tournaments, the state tournament, a national qualifier tournament, and a chance to advance to the World Series held this year in Florence, Alabama. 

West Texas Fastpitch is boosting up our 8U-18U USSSA SELECT LEAGUE. We will follow USSSA rules and tournament style competition. Teams will register and pay as a team, wear their own jerseys, and be awarded USSSA placement points. 

West Texas Fastpitch is proud to add an advisory board of surrounding high school and college coaches with a vested interest in growing softball in our community to act as a sounding board for our league needs. Meet our board here. 

West Texas Fastpitch is aiming to improve our instruction and education in our fastpitch community. We will host a coaches clinic for parents and coaches interested in coaching league March 5th at WTAMU time TBD. We have also added a skills clinic, ran like a camp, lead by professional coaches/instructors, working with players and coaches on developing age appropriate skills, drills, and fundamentals. Skills clinic will be March 23rd. 

West Texas Fastpitch is hoping to expand and grow our local umpires! We are actively recruiting and training new umpires. If you know someone that would be great, send them here!
