Babe Ruth Draft League

Skills clinic, 10 games, end of season tournament, All-Stars

Registration: January 13-February 16 

Late Registration: February 17-23 with an extra $10 charge:

Draft: Sunday, March 2nd TBA Players will be evaluated and placed on a team in an attempt to make all teams equal.

League: March 24-May 4  

Cost: $120 

Location: Martin Road Ball Fields 

Equipment needed: glove, infield facemask, bat, and batting helmet with facemask. 

League will provide: Shirts and medals. Game balls will be on site. 

Skills: The league will host a 2 hour skills clinic, March 23rd, for to jump start the season led by professional instructors/coaches. This will help guide coaches teaching age appropriate development, fundamentals, and skills. 

Games: Games will be 75 minute finish the batter. 

Format: A complete inning will consist of 3 outs or 5 runs. Focus will be on fundamentals, skills, and development in multiple positions. 

All-Stars: An All-Star team will be selected and announced at the end of season tournament championship game. 

All-Stars: The All-Star team will be able to choose their tournament path that could include 4 district tournaments, the state tournament, a national qualifier tournament, and an opportunity to advance to the World Series.

League: May 12-June 22 

Team Cost: $1,200

Games: Games will be 75 minute finish the inning.

If your athlete is looking to advance their game but NOT a member of an established team, fill out our Players looking for a Team form. We encourage you to check our website and social media platforms for teams looking for a player or hosting a tryout. 

If your athlete is part of an established team, you will receive an email with a registration link from West Texas Fastpitch. Once your coach has completed the team registration, you will need to upload a copy of your child's birth certificate.
